Video when I get home, but here’s a quick photo for now of actually being out on the Nürburgring! I got rides in three very different cars. I didn’t drive though as it costs a fortune to get a rental that is allowed on the Ring.

Nürburgring!
I finally had a chance to see the infamous Nürburgring race track yesterday! Historic races were going on with many cool old cars.
I should be getting some rides around it tomorrow!

1979 Markley-Bruins Top Fuel Dragster Engine Startup Video
At Portland Cars & Coffee this morning, the World of Speed Museum was awesome enough to fire up their 1979 NHRA championship winning Markley-Bruins Top Fuel dragster. It was insanely loud and insanely awesome! Ear plugs were a must. 🙂
Red, White, And Blue
The theme for the featured area this morning at Portland Cars & Coffee was red, white, and blue cars. They were all lined up in rotating order and it looked great!

Cars & Coffee
I snagged a pretty sweet parking spot at yesterday morning’s Cars & Coffee at the awesome World of Speed Museum near Portland. Great weather too — it was originally supposed to be super hot in the morning but some nice cloud cover saved us, although it did get into the high 90s by the end of the day!
Autocross Video
Last weekend I went autocrossing for the second time and I’m as hooked as ever! It’s such a blast, especially now that I have a 6 point racing harness in my car. It makes it a lot easier to feel what the car is doing as you’re held in very securely.
I still have a long way to go though — I see so many mistakes watching this video!

Beautiful Photoshoot Of My Viper
A guy I know through my local Cars & Coffee car meetup event was kind enough to take a bunch of beautiful photos of Viper, right after it was fresh back from getting paint correction at a detailer. They turned out gorgeous!

New Viper Tires
After 24,000 miles, my front tires wore out due to the camber that my car has (the tires are tilted slightly). $522 for the two mounted and installed. Ouch.
