Mile 567.6: Starry Night
I’m currently sitting in the Viper with Stephane and the top down on the side of the road in the middle of nowhere staring at a cloudless star-filled night sky. So beautiful. Stephane just spotted a shooting star too. We haven’t seen another car for at least an hour, probably closer to two. This is an awesome road trip so far.
Mile 358.6: California
Mile 299.1: Beautiful Coastline
Mile 288.3: Cape Blanco, OR
The western most point in the lower 48 states Oregon. Insanely foggy and windy!
EDIT: Turns out Cape Alava in Washington is ever so slightly more west than Cape Blanco.
Mile 231.9: Motel In Coos Bay, OR
Stephane and I made it safe and sound to our first overnight stop. The Viper burned about 14 gallons of gas and got 15.6 miles to the gallon. Glug glug!
