Generic 48x CD burner????
How dare you use a generic device!
Decent PC though 🙂
You need some LCD’s
Haha, I stole it outta my old Dell. 😉
Not like it really matters anyway. It’s empty 99.9% of the time as I use my DVD burner primarily and I have all games that I commonly play no-CD cracked or have a clone of the game’s CD/DVD mounted. 🙂
Pfft, not bad for a machine that’s over a year old… 😛
Okay, actually, I’d love one for my secondary monitor as it’d take up less space, but I LOVE my current primary CRT. I’m running 1600x1200x85Hz on it right now and it’ll do up to 2048x1536x60Hz. Plus, unless I shell out an arm and a leg for a top end LCD, I’ll get ghosting and that’s BAD in a game. 😉
Kitchen sink = + 12 ghz?
Ha, look me being all leet and posting on a win98 machine :/
Odd, it thinks you’re on XP.
That was my other computer, the one in my room.
THis is the reception one at the hotel.
And yes, it runs on win98.
nice box , cool to find another pdx geek so randomly. i hopped over from the tvtad forum and wound up here.
Heh, thanks. 🙂
I could get a use of 2gb of ram-3d studio max is so ram-hungry:)
Cool spread man. Pretty Neat. The only thing I’d lose is the flopy drive. I’m not even sure I knwo what a floppy disk looks like anymore. Seems like they’re from another eon. 😀
Haha, yeah, but it is handy when I need to boot up like Memtest or something. Easier than burning a CD. 😉
Nice system, but your audio doesnt go well 🙂 Need to buy a real Hife 5.1 amp, yamaha eg. With opto-digital soundcable. This really rox on fragtours 🙂 Dont forget the 700watts active subwoofer…
Heh, yeah, I’ll go crazy for an actual home stereo, but for a computer, this is about as much as I wanna go. I mean hell, I usually literally have my subwoofer at the notch above “Off” ’cause anything more vibrates the room. 😛
I got so excited and then I realised that you ruined it all by installing Windows …

And this PC is used for gaming, so it has to run Windows. Games don’t run too well under Wine, plus I suck ass at Linux, so…
