Automotive journalist Chris Harris had the opportunity to ride along in some classic rally cars driven by some professional rally drivers and the results were absolutely spectacular. Make sure you have those speakers on!
The Swiss have some of the most awesome hillclimbing races. Here’s some of the best half hour of hillclimb video I’ve seen. Worth the watch if you’re into auto racing.
You’ll love this video if you’re a gearhead:
It was filmed out in eastern Oregon and Washington! The awesome road in the video is Maryhill Loops Road which is closed to the public although it’s available for rent to car clubs and such.
I’ve seen crazy shots like this before on YouTube but this one from last Saturday has to be the best. He rebounds it and then throws it nearly full court and well, I’ll let you see for yourself. 🙂
I don’t know why I find this video so funny or how I managed to actually watch the full hour, but I just couldn’t stop laughing. Watching these three guys stumble through trying to fly an incredibly realistic version of an airplane just cracks me up.

LMFAO even made use of his house for the American Music Awards:
He also created a great light show for “Sexy And I Know It”:
Props Matt whose post reminded me to post an update.
Wow, this upcoming movie starring MMA fighter Gina Carano actually looks surprisingly good! Most fighter-turned-actor movies don’t, but I guess this one is going against the trend.
I was in Budapest last week for the Automattic company meetup and during that meetup a bunch of us went out go karting. I took my GoPro HD Hero 1 with me and mounted it onto my go kart using a suction cup. The videos turned out pretty cool (although lighting was an issue) so I thought I’d post two of them here. 🙂
The Opening Race
I had gone to this place a few days before so I already knew the track and the karts but most of the people I was racing against where new to the track and karts, hence the speed differences.
The Championship Race
The people who posted the top 7 best lap times were put into a starting grid and had a final race off. The track’s narrow width made it nearly impossible to pass but it was still quite fun!
The final lap (starting at about 8:20) was a victory lap which is why I was goofing around and trying to powerslide. 🙂
This is just so mind-bogglingly amazing. I love it.
He’s even set it up for other songs: View On YouTube (sorry, can’t embed, but worth clicking!)
