  9. Hey Alex,

    Your plugin is awesome and while I’m not sure if you’re planning to support YouTube’s iFrames in the near future, there is a “new” problem (thanks to YT). They seem to have switched to the youtu.be (that’s youtuDOTbe) short url’s for all of their share links now and the plugin rejects those urls.

    I know how to manually edit the address bar on youtube in order to get a url it will accept but that just kills the speedy workflow that VVQT has made possible. Is there a quick way to edit the plugin within the wordpress plugin editor to accept that short url, or will you/can you push out an update?

    i have used this plugin in wp3.0.5, that’s time youtube play button is displaying in ie7&ie8.
    now i used wp3.1.2, the youtube play button is not displaying in ie7&ie8.

    how to resolve this problem.

    i need your help friend…about [videofile] [videofile]
    just When i inspect the code into web page(firefox 4), i see the following

    the movie .avi no show up.but in IE show up success

    i dont found the problem, but just when i put the [videofile]path[videofile] and i want seem in the firefox 4, no show up

    note: the firefox with other code. show up in firefox 4

    • I very strongly recommend against embedding videos in that fashion and will likely drop support for it in a future version of my plugin. As you’ve found, it’s incredibly hard to get it work in all browsers across all operating systems.

      Convert the file to MP4 format and then embed it using the FLV shortcode (Flash).

  33. Hello, in a site I’m developing I’m using SlideDeck on the home page.
    Unfortunately SlideDeck needs the addition of the tag inside the tag and the wmode=”opaque” attribute on the tag.
    Is there a way to achieve this via your plugin?

  37. I hear the part about working 9-5 with WordPress stuff. I’m a web developer and we use WP for everything. Which has kinda put a damper on me blogging which sucks.

    If I add the Video manualy without your Plugin the spezial 3D Options works fine.
